Yesterday...didn't have time to blog last night

Yesterday was wet, windy and cold so it was a stay indoors day. OMG!!! I hadn't made a Fathers Day Card for my father-in-law (trust me to leave it to the last minute), so I spent the afternoon crafting. I rustled up a card using a free download from Crafts Beautiful magazine, I had bought the magazine but just didn't want to cut into my free gift....it is safely tucked away in my craft stash (how sad am I). I had to resize the graphics on my computer to get the look I wanted......most probably shouldn't of done that and will get a slap on the wrist, copyright and all that :-) ...It was just a one off, honest!! LOL.
When my grandson was born almost 2 years ago, I had bought a photo album to keep his photos in. As this had just quite thick paper pages in it, I started to decorate them and add wee poems etc. I suppose this was my first attempt at doing something like a scrap book. Below is one of my favourite pages, my son, Chris looking so proud holding his new baby son.

He was just 19yrs old when Kian was born and I am so proud of him as he had also taken on his girlfirends 3 little daughters. An instant family....so I have 4 grandchildren. So yesterday I added 2 pages to Kians Book.....his sisters.... Courtney, Chelsi and Chloe. I used bits and bobs that I had forgot I had in my craft stash, printed sisters on the computer and cut round the letters and then punched some hearts from patterned paper.....quite a simple layout.............

I have now well and truelly got the Scrapbooking bug and have got a 'real' scrapbook with loose pages....LOL, so will be trying my hand at some more adventurous layouts.
